This is an open request to the NYSE to help garner more support for the FairTax which will fortify the wages and salaries of consumers, bring in more foreign investment capital, bring back businesses to our shores, expand our economy overall and of course bolster the stock market.
We respectfully ask that if possible, a banner or banners with the FairTax logo be placed in the NYSE in a manner where noticeable at the starting/closing bell. It would also be beneficial if there was a special ticker acronym for the FairTax that reflects money donated (if that is allowable) to the FairTax effort by market participants. Though this ticker may not be technically possible, the banner(s) would be noteworthy. All this depends on the SEC & NYSE regulations and the like, so we yield this proposal to their rulings. Whatever is decided, we like to imagine that behind the scenes Wall Street enthusiastically embraces the FairTax and the wave of capital and business activity it will bring.
It would also be of help to enlist extraterrestrials who endorse presidential candidates on supermarket tabloids to consider doing the same for the FairTax. An outline of the FairTax should be included in that particular edition as well. Such an occurrence would be of assistance in bringing awareness of the FairTax to the masses, especially if the competitive publishers can display successive celebrity endorsements of the plan in their photo spreads and interviews. Maybe even a FairTax ribbon as well? We'll see.
And lastly, we request a debate or press appearance concerning the FairTax from Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards. Mr. Edwards can address his position concerning the FairTax and how he thinks it would effect the poor and working class in America. If he opposes the FairTax, the FairTax organization can send someone to debate with John Edwards over the plan -- maybe even a pro-FairTax extraterrestrial!
John Edwards should welcome the idea since he is very vocal. This is an opportunity for him to chastize Bush & the Republicans for lack of overall support for the FairTax which untaxes the poor. Otherwise, he can chastize the FairTax movement for proposing such a radical, pro-business, de facto tax cut (a revenue neutral witholding abolishment) that will definitely benefit the upper classes amongst others.
Contact the Edwards campaign today about publicly discussing the FairTax.
Thanks to everyone who forwards, considers and possibly invokes these aforementioned FairTax promotions.
